Duck breast confit with Tarbais beans (Label Rouge) 750 g
Duck breast confit is cooked like a cassoulet with tarbais beans (Label Rouge). This dish combines two flagship products of the South-West: duck meat and Tarbais beans, for a recipe that's both original and traditional. The confit duck breasts are cooked in a jus that brings out all their flavors. To enhance the delicious taste of this dish, we recommend pouring the contents of the jar into an ovenproof dish before covering with breadcrumbs for gratinating. A good Gers red wine will go perfectly with this dish.
The departments of Gers and Hautes-Pyrénées are both located in south-west France. The former is renowned for its duck meat of incomparable quality, while the latter stands out for its Label Rouge-certified white beans.
